home air duct cleaning

Home Air Duct Cleaning

Remove accumulated dust and debris from your home’s accessible air ductwork with Kepsten’s Home Air Duct Cleaning service.

What’s Included

1. Cleaning of accessible supply and return ductwork, including main duct lines, using agitation and vacuum extraction.
2. Cleaning of accessible vent and register covers.
3. Duct cleaning for one furnace or air handler within your selected home-size package.

Optional Add-ons

Dryer vent cleaning, furnace blower fan cleaning, AC coil cleaning, vent boot brushing, HRV/ERV unit cleaning and duct sanitization are available where listed. These services are not included unless selected.

Duct sanitization is provided only where the product is authorized for the intended use and suitable for the system, following its label instructions.

What to Expect

Your technician will review your system, access conditions and selected services before starting. Any inaccessible areas or conditions affecting completion will be explained to you.

Additional furnace systems or work outside your booked package may cost extra. The scope and price will be explained and your approval recorded through Kepsten before additional paid work begins. Optional add-ons are not required to receive the cleaning included in your package.

Complimentary Furnace Filter Replacement

Replacement of an accessible, user-replaceable furnace filter is included at no additional labour charge when you supply the correct compatible filter. Filters are not supplied. Replacement is subject to safe access, manufacturer instructions and the technician’s permitted scope.

Before Your Appointment

Please clear access to vents and equipment, arrange suitable parking, secure pets and move fragile items away from work areas. Tell Kepsten beforehand about additional furnace systems, shared ductwork, access restrictions, known damage, suspected mould or pest activity.

Visit Fee — $79

A $79 visit fee applies if the technician arrives for your confirmed appointment but cannot proceed because you are unavailable, required access has not been provided despite advance instructions, or you choose to cancel the booked service onsite.

This fee covers technician attendance, travel and dispatch. When no cleaning is performed, it replaces the cleaning charge and is not combined with another cancellation fee for the same visit.

The fee does not apply to technician no-shows, missing equipment, conditions disclosed before booking confirmation, Kepsten’s inability to deliver the agreed service, or your decision to decline optional extras. Unexpected access or safety issues are reviewed before any fee is applied.

Service Limits

This package is for homes with an individual forced-air system. Shops, offices, other commercial premises and shared building systems are excluded.

Repairs, gas-appliance servicing, refrigerant work, mould remediation, pest removal and asbestos-related work are excluded. Unsafe conditions may require affected work to pause.

Cleaning removes accessible accumulated dust and debris; it does not guarantee a dust-free home, allergy relief, odour elimination or energy savings.

Service availability varies by location. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
